Agri-Business Opportunities in Romania: land, cereals production, machinery and equipment
German agricultural technology manufacturer Claas sold 160 tractors and 196 harvesters in Romania last year, making some EUR 48.5 million in the process on the Romanian market. That was 8.6 percent of the sales in the region and higher than the sales in Italy and Spain, according to the head of sales and marketing for Claas in Romania.
The company’s target is to reach a 40 percent market share for harvesters and a 20 percent market share for tractors in Romania, a market that offers more opportunities for growth in the agricultural segment than in the saturated Western European markets.
More details about similar opportunities can be read in the recent demo report we produced on Agri-Business Opportunities in Romania: land, cereals production, machinery and equipment etc.
