According to company sources, 2016 has been the most successful year in the history of the company. They sold over 50 million electric tools all over the world and increased sales once again. The Bosch Electric Power Tool Division has recorded a double-digit growth in 2015 compared to 2014, especially on the segment of professional tools whose sales have increased by over 25%.
The importer of electric tools and brushcutters Stihl Romania, part of the German group Andreas Stihl, ended the year 2016 with a turnover of EUR 32 mil, which represents a 20% increase compared to 2015. The double-digit sales increase in Romania has been favored by economic factors such as lower VAT, economic development, increase of purchasing power of the end consumer as well as the completion of large residential construction projects.
At the same time, the number of stores in the company network increased by 20%, from 300 at the beginning of 2016 to 360 in Q1 2017.
Stihl Romania is wholly owned by the mother company in Germany and imports the Stihl and Viking brands on the Romanian market.
