Ford Romania announced plans to hire some additional 500 people in their Craiova plant by the end of 2017. The new employees will work in the Vehicle Production area supporting the new #EcoSport #SUV model. They will be joining some 1200 new employees already announced in April. Currently, there are some 2800 employees working for the #Ford #Romania operations.

Romanian car producer Dacia set a new sales record in H1 2017, when it sold 332,845 motor vehicles, almost 12% higher than H1 2016. Some 170,430 units were produced in the Mioveni factory in Romania in the first six months of this year.
